Question 6
What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Though out the media process I already know how to use a camera as I am a photography AS student so when it came to taking all of my photos I knew what style I wanted and how to use my digital SLR camera to the best of its ability. I also learnt how to use an editing programme called photo shop. I learnt a lot about this programme by figuring out how to change the contrast, how to crop my image and also how to crop my image out from its original back ground and place it on another.  I really enjoyed using different programs as this also gave me different ideas with how to take different pictures and the diverse ways I could edit them to make them look better. I set the background to be plain so that all eyes are on the model. I wanted the model to stand out so that you can see her facial expressions so it shows how she looks like the rebellious type to make the magazine look a lot more exiting. I also love the way I used my make-up as a prop to make the picture much busier. To make her make-up stand out I used the effects on photo shop so that the picture looks more professional. Even though I have only used this programme for almost a year I have learnt a lot about how to make my photos much more better and how the effects can change the look on the models and what modes and effects make the picture as a whole look enhanced.
